The title of this week’s new episode, “The Elongated Knight Rises,” should tell you exactly who’s going to have to prove his mettle. See, Barry Allen received his life sentence for a murder he didn’t commit last week, and even though it would be a bummer of a superhero show if he ended up spending the rest of his days behind bars, he’s going to need help protecting the city he loves in the meantime.
And it looks like the guy we’re talking about is going to have to take the next big step in his heroic journey this week.
While The Flash season 4 hasn’t been too good to all of its supporting characters (ahem, Wally West), it has done a nice job giving even the newest member of the S.T.A.R. Our hero is in jail and likely to be there for a while, but another, more unlikely crime-fighter is preparing to fill the void.
